As we consider the years of investment spent in ministry to men we find ourselves at a challenging intersection of frustration and opportunity. Despite some memorable and moderately effective men’s ministry efforts we still seem to be behind the curve when it comes to winning the battle for the souls of men in America.
Opportunity however is knocking at the door. As a men’s ministry leader it is not the time to give up. Could it be that God has us here—right now—in the midst of so much cultural turmoil—for such a time as this?
This November 2-4 at the beautiful Glen Eyrie Conference Center in Colorado Springs there will be a historic and critical meeting of men’s ministry leaders from around our country. If you are a ministry leader with regional or national interests, the National Coalition of Men’s Ministries invites you to come and experience fellowship with your peers.
Our theme this year is:
Rendezvous ‘09 A time to Reflect, Refresh and Reengage.
Reflect
·We’ll help you consider how God has been at work, where He is using you, and how He might want you to change.
·We’ll consider together our strengths and successes— and also remember where we have we failed and what we can learn.
Refresh
·Through fellowship, prayer, worship, work, fun – and of course eating—experience refreshment for every part of your being
·Hear reports from other leaders of what God is doing throughout NCMM
Reengage
·Discover a new and dynamic sense of where God wants to take our efforts as we move forward together
·Gain a better insight of how your ministry fits into our overall efforts for ministry to men
