Men’s ministry experience began in college as a Penn State football player. Our Christian Athletes bible study group, with assistance from a Christian Missionary Alliance assistant pastor, travelled to numerous churches giving our testimony. After graduation and being drafted by the Los Angeles Rams I travelled to Buenos Aires Argentina and Santiago Chile with Pro Athletes Outreach to speak to their respective professional soccer players and in local churches. I continued to receive requests to speak locally and regionally, in churches, schools, businesses, and at conferences and retreats for men as well as young men. After founding Family Impact, a non profit ministry with a mission to strengthen the American family and preserve traditional family values, my speaking and traveling schedule expanded, accepting 20 to 30 events a year. I took time off speaking to focus more on writing since then but sense God calling me back to take His message of “BetterMen Better World” to the hearts of men wherever I can.
Speaking messages are taken from book and chapter titles I’ve written and are largely sports themed taken from my personal experiences in college and with the NFL, such as, “What it takes; Becoming more than a champion”, “There is no joy in Gruntsville but there’s plenty to learn”, and “Becoming Champions for Life.” I’ve also done marriage and parenting events also using my book writing titles for messages such as, “Reaching for Home” and “Before They Say Goodbye.”
Fees: Minimum: A donation to cover travel expenses. I’m willing to travel.

BetterMenBetterWorld.com is my response to the call for “better” in me and the world in which I live. It is my personal online presence where I post much of what I speak about: simple truths and learnings that can create “better” in all of us. And it is my hope that others will join me in this journey by making “better” a reality in every facet of their own lives. I am a published author of several books and have spoken to hundreds of groups through the years. My wife Holly and I celebrated four decades of marriage a little while back. We have four adult children, eight grandchildren, and live in “Chocolate Town USA” – Hershey, Pennsylvania.
