to experience biblical teaching and equipping for all areas of life. With two keynote sessions, 16 seminar options, and a host of ministries with resources, men of all ages (13 and older) find relevant and practical ways to equip them for godly living.

Morning Keynote Speaker: Johnny Parker
Dr. Johnny Parker is a relationship architect who helps couples build marriages that flourish. Speaks nationally for Family Life’s “Weekend to Remember” marriage conferences for over 10 years and served as life coaches (chaplains) of the Washington Redskins and Washington Mystics.
Most recently, Johnny and his wife have served as relationship coaches to the Pittsburgh Steelers players and their wives. They help professional athletes (NFL, NBA, PGA, WNBA) cultivate healthy lives and strong relationships. They have spoken on cruises with the Pittsburgh Steelers and Black and Married with Kids.
Johnny is an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins and he provides leadership training and executive coaching to CEO’s. He is the author of Renovating Your Marriage and his latest book, Turn the Page: Unlocking the Story Within You.

Afternoon Keynote Speaker: Rod Handley
Rod Handley is the Founder and President of Character That Counts, a ministry that was established in July 2000. Rod is also the co-founder of TGIW (“Teaching Guys Infinite Wisdom”) a ministry which began in Lee’s Summit, MO in September 2001. Today, TGIW groups are meeting all over the world.
Rod served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer/Chief Financial Officer for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA) until his departure in May 2000. Rod began working for FCA in 1986, initially serving in Seattle as the Assistant State Director for Washington. He moved to Kansas City in 1989 to work at the FCA National Headquarters.
Rod has published over 20 books including, Character Counts-Who’s Counting Yours? which details how to begin the process of being accountable to one another. The book is a practical tool for helping people who desire to be people of character and integrity.
Rod is a popular retreat and banquet speaker with men’s and women’s groups, singles and married. Rod averages about 250 speaking engagements each year, and is gifted in sharing with all ages. Rod has also spoken at a number of colleges and universities across America. He’s shared at chapel programs for collegiate and professional teams over the past twenty five years and served as the chaplain for the Seattle SuperSonics from 1986-89.
Rod and his wife, Janna, have been married over 25 years and they have four children, and reside in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Equipping Seminars
Equipping seminars are one hour long and designed to equip men in various areas of life, such as Bible knowledge, marriage, finance, parenting, purity, and more. There are three seminar times during the conference, with eight seminar options during each time. Read about the seminar options below.
